DDOS Attack Renders Numerous Sites Unavailable

Oct. 21, 2016 – DynDNS experienced a huge DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack resulting in many websites being unavailable for many users in U.S. and U.K. A few of the sites that were affected include, Twitter, Etsy, and Netflix. Facebook Launches Business Page Updates

Oct. 19, 2016 – Facebook gives people easier ways to take action on your business page.

They have updated the call-to-action to allow more options than just “Contact”, such as start order, book now, buy tickets, etc., and you can also manage bookings and quotes through your page.

Facebook also seems to be testing removing the “page likes count.” While it is not announced in their update, I have been noticing this for a while. What does this mean for you? Likes aren’t the only metric you should be tracking!

Google Adwords Introduces Click-to-Message for Search Ads

Oct. 17, 2016 – Google launches convenient and fast way to connect with consumers on mobile devices. Now interested prospects will be able to simply text you!

If you are using Adwords, you can set this up and start reaping the rewards immediately.
