Correct me if I’m wrong, but who doesn’t like a sweet treat after a big meal? I know I do. And for those of you who said no to that question, then I’m sorry, but you’re all liars. Just imagine you’ve gorged yourself on grandma’s Thanksgiving turkey, or mom’s Christmas dinner, and then somebody whips out a bar of chocolate. You’d want a piece, right? Well then, let me introduce you to Chocowrap.
Founded in 2001, Chocowrap have been wowing their customers with their Customized Belgian Chocolate and Candy Wrapper Designs for over 10 years. Based in Edmonton, Alberta these guys can supply you with creative customized chocolate products (bars, trays, even a chocolate champagne bottle!) for a variety of occasions, including Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Graduation and a whole lot more. They even have an Express Collection if you need your chocolate fix right now!
As a company that primarily conducts it’s business on the web, Chocowrap have to compete with a large market, therefore the website (the door to your online business) has to stand up and be noticed. Luckily for us the guys at Chocowrap understand this concept and contacted us to help them create a new website for their business.
Let’s look at the previous site:

After consulting with the owners of Chocowrap we all agreed a complete redesign was needed. Therefore, our super duper awesome team of designers and programmers set to work to produce a site as worthy as the products offered by Chocowrap. First of all our guys had to create a fresh new logo for Chocowrap’s brand:

It was from the creation of this logo design that the designers could then create the rich and chocolaty design of the site. Our programmers then took all the existing information (the product catalog) from the previous website and uploaded it to the new site. Our customized Content Management System (CMS) was implemented so that key-word rich content could easily be uploaded and edited by the user(s). Social Media was also an important feature so our team integrate feeds to customized Facebook and Twitter pages.
Here’s what we produced:
A new addition to the Chocowrap website was the interactive and highly secure e-Commerce shopping cart that we implemented. It meant that their customers could order and pay for their little Belgian delights and designs as easy as if they were in a store buying them. Alas, they’re not! They’re sat on their bum at a computer. Awesome! However, you can still call and place your order.
For further information regarding Chocowrap’s wonderful chocolaty treats, visit there website: www.chocowrap.com. I wonder if they’d make a bar of chocolate with my face on it? I should call them and ask.
Please feel free to leave a comment or contact us.
