Our latest website redesign project has been for Excel Refrigeration Ltd., a locally owned and operated business in Saskatoon who pride themselves on “providing a friendly, reliable, professional service right from start to finish on all sales, service calls and installations.” They specialize in the sales, installation, service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment. Additionally, they are the leading supplier in supermarket and commercial refrigeration equipment, stainless products, small wares, checkouts and merchandizing products.

Unhappy with their current website we wanted to ensure their new website met their needs and achieved their goals. We wanted to create a website that was innovative, customer friendly, attractive and highly functional for all users. So that’s exactly what we did! Let’s highlight a few of the main features of the new Excel Refrigeration website:

• Custom CMS – the new website was built using a custom content management system tailored to Excel Refrigeration’s specific needs and allows them to easily manage and maintain the website themselves.
• Product Gallery – enables Excel Refrigeration to display images of their products along with brief product descriptions and links to their suppliers.
• Project Showcase – Excel Refrigeration has worked on many projects and can now showcase these projects to their website visitors. For each project they are able to display the name of the project, description of the work involved and a photo gallery.
• Careers Module – allows Excel Refrigeration to advertise available positions within their company and allow potential candidates to upload their resume.

Lastly, the Excel Refrigeration website was designed responsive. As more and more people are accessing the Internet from mobile devices (such as smartphones and tablets) it’s important you are providing your visitors with a great user experience no matter what device they are using. Responsive design allows the website  to automatically re-size itself depending on the device it is being viewed on. There’s no need for pinching or pulling, and ultimately your visitors are left with a great lasting impression of your website.
