When you’re continually improving and developing innovative solutions to modern agricultural challenges, you need an innovative and intuitive online identity to match! We have been busy collaborating with Johnny Wurz from Sunny Dale Colony on this new website for SDC Farms that just launched.
SDC Farms needed an online, web presence for when people Google them. They required a new website to showcase their farm products and to improve communication with their target audience. They also requested that the site is accessible on mobile devices. We took their wish list and turned it into an outstanding site with the following three main features integrated with the content management system:
Design and development of a searchable and categorizable product catalogue. The catalogue displays SDC Farms’ products in an engaging and eye-catching way while communicating valuable product information to their website visitors. The catalogue contains detailed product listings including year, stock number, colour, product highlights, and images — all of which are sure to satisfy interested customers curiosity.
Each of the products in the catalogue also includes a “Send Inquiry” button. The Inquiry button is super user-friendly and makes asking questions about a product super easy! We also took this product catalogue to the next level with an amazing search feature that allows the website visitors to enter keywords or product names and all related results are automatically pulled up. (Test out the search function by looking for my favourite SDC Farms product, SD-50!)
Johnny has full control over managing, adding, and deleting products from the product catalogue from within the content management system. He has the ability to add categories to the products, which makes website administration that much easier, considering he also has the ability to add an unlimited number of products.
Development of a blog to help drive traffic to the site. The blog articles are presented in a clean and visually appealing way. The combination of text and visuals help to position Johnny as an authoritative thought leader. Through the back-end of the website (the content management system), he is able to write articles about new products, add categories, embed keywords into the posts, and to reap the rewards by traffic arriving at his site through Google Searches.
Approach to development of the website intended to provide website visitors with an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices. The market, like yours and Johnny’s target audience, demands mobile accessible websites because these days, much research of products and finding of information happens on mobile or tablet devices. As a result, we helped Johnny get the mobile-friendly website that he was looking for.
If you have a moment, please check out the new SDCFarms.ca site on any device of your choosing and then let us know in the comments section below how you think the site turned out! We would love to hear from you!
