Spotify launched ‘RISE’
October 20, 2017 – I think oct is the launch month, with Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc introducing new products, Spotify to have joined the race with a new program for new artists and up-and-comers, known as RISE.
With 140 million listeners, Spotify aims to launch new talent, which includes promotion on the app, editorially-programmed playlists, and even through out-of-home advertising, TV ads, and digital and social promotions.
The program is, for now, available only in U.S., Canada, and U.K, and aims to launch four new artists every month with the goal of launching 16 artists per year
