Facebook to Promote Job Listings
Nov. 8, 2016 – TechCrunch reports seeing a “Jobs” tab on its business page. A potential threat to LinkedIn considering the audience size of Facebook… but personally, I don’t know how well this is going to work out, considering Facebook has always been a bit more of a “private” network.
I haven’t been able to see the feature yet on my end, what about you? Are you going to post job listings on Facebook?
Stripe Expands
Nov. 7, 2016 – Stripe introduces pre-built tools and products to help businesses do more with Stripe.
Stripe users rejoice! You can now integrate with a wide variety of categories and additional options such as invoicing, notifications, and managing subscriptions.
Gmail ‘Undo Send’ & Updates for iOS
Nov. 7, 2016 – Google updates the Gmail and Google Calendar apps on iOS. If you use the app, one of the great features they just rolled out is the ability to undo sent emails!
Google Announces Mobile-first Indexing
Nov. 4, 2016 – Google confirms that they’ll be making changes to their algorithm to make results more useful because most people search Google on mobile devices.
Some recommendations straight from the webmasters at Google. If you don’t have a mobile friendly site or if you have a different mobile and desktop website, you should start thinking about making some changes. As your sites ranking will be judged on the content available on mobile devices it is now more important than ever to make mobile experiences as great as possible!
