Plan

What do we mean by Plan?

Planning is where the fun begins!

The purpose of the planning phase is to deeply understand what goals you want to achieve, and collaborate on finding the best solution as possible.

We want to get down to the nitty-gritties of what your business is and where you want it to be in the next few years.

We also want to know not only what your experience is with web development but also what your feelings are towards it, so that we can make sure to never leave you in over your head, while finding the best way to empower you along the way.

In a nutshell, this step is about:

  • Coming up with multiple paths to reach your goal
  • Making sure we’re on the same page on which path we’ll take
  • Setting up the timeline to reach your goal

What are some of the things covered in the planning phase?

First things first, we want to know more about you.

This means delving deep into your business’ history and goals as well as your feelings and understanding of web development.

Then we’ll want to know more about your audience

Your audience is the group of people your business is looking to attract. It’s okay if you don’t know who your audience is — we can work together to figure that out.

Once we both know which audience we’ll be targeting, we’ll investigate their behaviour online to see exactly how they tick. We are at our core a people-centric business, so understanding your customer’s behaviour is really where we shine.

Next, we map out their customer journey

Using what we’ve learned, we’ll collaborate with you on creating a customer journey, i.e. the path your customers take from first hearing about you to buying your product or equivalent.

Finally, we’ll provide you with different paths that lead to your goal

At this point we understand your business, we understand your goals, and we understand your audience. All that’s left is coming up with the plan to put it all together.

But we don’t just offer one way or the highway, we’ll show you multiple roads to victory, giving you the ultimate choice as to which one we take.

What if your business already has a plan?

That’s okay too! We can still help.

We know that for a large enterprise, it’s important to first come up with a plan internally so that an appropriate amount of money can be set aside in the budget.

For businesses like this, the planning phase is more about understanding your plan and making sure we’re on the same page with its development. The last thing we’d want to do is go off-track from the timeline or budget your company put an effort into designing.

The next step is Build.
