Kinnaird Bagpipes & Reeds
Overview
Kinnaird Bagpipes and Reeds are a “family owned and operated” online business who have provided “innovative pipe band products” since 2001. Located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan they continually research and develop new products – to help improve a bagpipe players experience – and ensure each product is thoroughly tested by professional players prior to its sale.
We have worked with the CEO of Kinnaird Bagpipes and their online presence since 2007. The original site we collaborated on empowered Kinnaird to safely and securely sell their products online (they have over 1000 of them!) More recently, we’ve updated the site to fit current web standards, including adding responsive web design.
The Challenges
With the growth of Kinnaird Bagpipes & Reeds in the past couple of years, the website needed updating and improving to handle the amount of business that was being conducted.
Shoppers had a hard time browsing around and making purchases, especially on their mobiles.
The Solution
Working within the theme of Kinnaird’s current site, we made the new design responsive so that the site works on all of the latest devices and gadgets.
We also set them up with some advanced search engine optimization features to help website administrators perfect their SEO and draw in more traffic from search engines.
The Results
Now the Kinnaird Bagpipes and Reeds website is easily viewable and accessible on mobile devices, as the website will readjust itself according to the screen size that it is being viewed on.
Such impressive results were seen after the site update, that Kinnaird’s also asked 2 Web Design to work on their latest venture’s website, Sandy Shores Resort.
